Men’s Tennis

Celbridge Tennis Club has a very active men’s section. Men’s tennis competes at all levels at the club and we welcome everyone from beginners to advanced players.

Games are easily organised with the help of different WhatsApp groups, which you can access and join once you become a member. At Celbridge LTC, we don’t only enjoy tennis; we enjoy each other’s company and the club’s social committee organises many different events throughout the season so that we can all get to know each other and make connections.

All new members are introduced to our Sunday night social tennis group to help make instant contact with all new players and find new opponents to play with.

Our ladders are very active, offering as much competition as one prefers.

Looking forward to seeing you on the courts!

When you join, you will be invited to join different WhatsApp groups depending on your level of interest and your tennis skills—from hitting buddy sessions for learners to groups seeking to play more challenging games, we cater for all levels of tennis.

Communications are sent to members regularly through WhatsApp groups to keep everyone up to date with social activities, league preparations, and other tennis-related matters.

Woman Playing Tennis at Celbridge

Social tennis takes place on a Sunday evening and other groups run regular tennis sessions during the week, e.g., Ladies Thursday morning tennis. Clubmanager365 is used for court booking and ladder challenges—singles, doubles, and mixed. We enter 5 or 6 ladies teams in most DLTC leagues ranging from Class 2 to Class 7.

We have tennis coaches available in the club if you would like to improve your game and they will help you decide what club activities might be suitable for your level of tennis.

The club has an active social committee. Club tournaments, BBQs, craft afternoons, and coffee mornings are regular events in our clubhouse. The kettle is always on the boil for a quick cuppa after your match.

Social Tennis

Sunday Night Social Tennis at Celbridge LTC is a fun and friendly space to play tennis. This activity at the club is particularly popular and all levels of players are very welcome, from beginners to more experienced players.

Social Tennis is open to all club members, especially new members to the club. Your participation guarantees you meet other club members and it’s also a fantastic way to get your games up and running!

This group meets up every Sunday evenings and the fee is approx €2, which includes the use of club balls and lights.

If you are interested in joining us some Sunday evening, contact membership@celbridgetennis.ie for contact details of the organisers.
